Stephen Eversole, Ed.D., BCBA-D
Dr. Eversole was inspired to become a "behaviorist" in a high school psychology class after reading "Beyond Freedom and Dignity" by B. F. Skinner.  He remained inspired, receiving his M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University in 1984 and his Ed.D. in Special Education from the University of Kentucky in 1995.  That same year Dr. Eversole began dabbling in computer-based training and in 1998 founded Behavior Development Solutions—makers of the CBA Learning Module Series, CE products, and other training materials.  He has practiced behavior analysis for over 35 years, working with a variety of special needs populations including individuals with autism, mental retardation, and severe emotional disturbances.  Dr. Eversole has also taught classes on behavior analysis and presented research findings at professional conferences.  Dr. Eversole’s current research interest is in instructional design and its application to teaching both inside and outside the field of behavior analysis.

Theresa Adams, MA, BCBA
Dedicated to helping youth, Theresa initially received an undergraduate degree in Agriculture Education from The Pennsylvania State University. She then had a change of heart and decided she could impact more lives by working in ABA. She got her Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Pennsylvania State University - Harrisburg, and then her BCBA. While working on her graduate work and practicum hours, Theresa gained experience with challenging and aggressive children at The Vista School, Capital Area Intermediate Unit, and wrap-around agencies. Theresa started at BDS in 2014 and has worked on the CBA Learning Module Series (versions 8 and 9), the RBT Exam Prep Course, the RBT Forty Hour Training Course, some CE courses, and more.

Janelle Allison Ph.D., BCBA-D 

Dr. Janelle Allison received her M.S. in applied behavior analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in 2010. She received her Ph.D. in behavior analysis at Florida Institute of Technology in 2015. Dr. Allison has more than 15 years of experience in the field of behavior analysis and has worked in the areas of online behavior analytic curriculum development and supervision since 2008. Her professional experience includes autism early intervention program case management, as well as the assessment and treatment of early childhood compliance problems, severe behavior, and pediatric mealtime related problem behavior. Dr. Allison’s professional interests include online curriculum development, instruction, and supervision, relational frame theory and its application to complex human behavior. Dr. Allison’s research interests include the assessment and treatment of severe behavior disorders and child compliance, as well as the use of the Implicit Relational Assessment Procedure to examine complex human behavior.

Guy Bruce, Ed.D., BCBA-D
Since earning his Ed. D. in Educational Psychology from the Behavior Analysis in Human Resources program at West Virginia University, Dr. Bruce has taught behavior analysis in both undergraduate and graduate programs and worked as consultant to for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He has supervised students completing their intensive practicum training for BCBA certification.  He is the author of “Instructional Design Made Easy,” a workbook for designing more efficient learning programs and PARSE, a data-based process that can be used by schools to help students achieve desired learning outcomes. His goal is to help individuals and organizations achieve desired outcomes through the use of positive methods to improve their performance. 

Tom Dozier, M.S., BCBA
 Tom Dozier received an M.S. degree in 2012 in interdisciplinary studies from California State University, Stanislaus.  His program focused on behavior analysis and the family.  He received a graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis from the University of North Texas in 2004, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1976.  Tom had a successful career in engineering, management, and industrial training, before changing to behavior analysis.  He has worked as a parenting coach and parenting skills teacher since 2004.  Tom is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has a teaching credential in adult education. His professional focus is on families with typically developing children.  Tom has also developed an online parent training program called “Love, Laughter, and Limits” (, which combines traditional child development research and behavior analysis principles and addresses parenting issues and skills from birth through young adulthood.

Dusty Jones, M.S., BCBA
Dusty Jones earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas in 2001, and a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis, also at UNT, in 2007. He has served various populations, both in the United States and overseas, including individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, child victims of abuse and neglect, individuals with acquired brain injury, incarcerated military personnel, parents and families of individuals affected by behavioral difficulties, care and educational staff of residential institutions, and special education students in public schools. He specializes in severe challenging behavior, including oppositional and defiant behavior, aggression and self-injury. He has developed educational programs for parents and professionals and has conducted many presentations and workshops on behavior analysis covering a range of clinical and social topics ranging from challenging behavior and early childhood development to human sexuality, culture, and economics. He has co-authored two chapters on self-injurious behavior in the International Handbook of Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders, and currently authors educational materials for behavior analysts for Behavior Development Solutions.pic

Kim M. Kelly Ph.D., BCBA, LBA, LABA
Kim M. Kelly Ph.D., BCBA, LBA, LABA is a clinician and administrator, with over 40 years of experience working with diverse populations of people in human service agencies, institutions, hospitals, homes, foster care programs, as well as in day habilitation, employment, and educational settings. As one of the founders of a multi-state, non-profit human services organization, Dr. Kelly spent much of her career in community settings developing services and treatment programs for children, youth, and adults who exhibited severe problem behaviors and who had co-occurring, complex genetic, medical, and psychiatric conditions. Additionally, she has worked with numerous governmental and regulatory agencies to address systemic issues encountered when supporting difficult to serve people. Dr. Kelly is currently a Senior Behavior Analyst with Behavior Development Solutions and is the past president of the New Hampshire Association of Behavior Analysis. In addition, she serves as adjunct faculty for the Antioch New England Graduate Program in Applied Behavior Analysis, where she has taught ethics amongst other courses since 2009. She has presented at local and national conferences, conducted numerous workshops and trainings, and has published in professional journals as well as co-authored a book chapter. Her research interests include effective teaching in higher education, instructional design, and ethical issues in behavior analysis. Dr. Kelly received her undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota and her M.A. and Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Vermont.

Charles Merbitz, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Charles Merbitz, Ph.D., BCBA-D, has been an applied behavior analyst for over 35 years.  His work included school psychology, medical rehabilitation research, faculty member, and administrator.  Chuck’s research included pressure sore prevention after spinal cord injury, logical problem solving after brain injury, and communication disorders and gait improvement after stroke. His team’s critique of the ordinal measures used for reimbursement became the 24th most cited paper in medical rehabilitation.  Chuck’s faculty appointments included Jacksonville State University, Northwestern University Medical School, the Illinois Institute of Technology, and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where he started the ABA Department as Chair.  Chuck currently serves with the Standard Celeration Society and the Cambridge Center. He also consults privately and is lead researcher on a federal grant through the University of Michigan to develop an app useful in ABA.pic

Michael Weinberg, Ph.D., BCBA-D
picDr. Michael Weinberg received his Ph.D. in 1985 in the experimental analysis of behavior program at Temple University, and B.A. in psychology in 1977 with an ABA focus at the E. K. Shriver Center and Northeastern University. He has been on the part-time faculty of Temple University’s Psychology Department, and is an adjunct faculty member of Rutgers University and Penn State University and is a Trustee of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies. Dr. Weinberg is a licensed psychologist in three states, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with over 30 years of experience providing treatment to children and adults with developmental disabilities, autism, emotional and behavioral disorders, and other disorders. He is editor and a co-founder of the Behavior Analyst Today, and Behavior Analyst Online journals, and founder and president of Orlando Behavior Health Services, LLC, a BACB-approved CE provider. He conducts workshops and training on OBM, behavioral counseling approaches, and other areas. Dr. Weinberg has published articles and book chapters on behavior analysis in the areas of juvenile justice, functional analysis, and reactive attachment disorder
