For each meeting, a journal article on the meeting topic will be sent out in advance. During the meeting, we will provide an overview of the article and facilitate a discussion on how the reading is relevant to our clinical work in the field.

Spring 2022 Meeting Schedule:

  • March 3rd -Alternatives to Escape Extinction in the Treatment of Food Selectivity March 17th-The Complexities of Chewing Interventions
  • April 7th -Delineating Roles on a Multidisciplinary Team
  • April 28th-The Role of Motivating Operations in Feeding Interventions May 5th- Unpacking the Behavior of Packing!
  • May 19th-Providing Home-based Feeding Intervention Services
  • All meetings will be held live on Thursdays via zoom from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm EST. Participants must attend live in order to receive CEs.

PRICE: $180 total if purchasing 6 session bundle in advance by 3/1/2022 or $50 per individual 1 hr meetings.

About the presenters:

Dr. Laura Seiverling is a licensed psychologist and board certified behavior analyst. She has over 15 years of experience working on or with multidisciplinary teams in the field of pediatric feeding disorders. Elise Jusko, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience working in the field. Alongside each other, Dr. Seiverling and Ms. Jusko promote interdisciplinary collaboration among clinicians to address both oral motor and behavioral components of pediatric feeding disorders. Dr. Keith Williams is a licensed psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). He has been the Director of the Feeding Program at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center for twenty years. Dr. Williams is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Penn State College of Medicine, where he teaches medical students, graduate students, and medical residents. He has written more than sixty book chapters and articles in the area of feeding problems and child nutrition. He is coauthor of Treating Eating Problems of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Disabilities: Interventions for Professionals and Parents.

Dr. Laura Seiverling is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She worked for five years at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children’s Center for Pediatric Feeding Disorders in Bayside, New York, serving as both psychologist and clinical supervisor for the program. She now holds an Assistant Teaching Professor position at Ball State University. Dr. Seiverling has over ten years of experience providing treatment for feeding as well as other behaviors in children. She has published more than thirty articles and book chapters in the areas of feeding problems, autism spectrum disorder, staff and parent training, and behavioral interventions.
