Case formulation is a core clinical skill for many mental health professionals. This workshop reviews the definition of case
formulation; methods used to make a formulation; and the outcomes in adult mental health. Outcomes studies are mixed. The workshops goes on to review application of case formulation to individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. The is a literature on that topic, but evidence on outcomes and training staff is minimal.
